Coverages
Schools Coverage
Community Insurance Corporation drafted its own policy to provide the total scope of liability protection needed by, and preserving, the public entity protections afforded by Wisconsin statutes. See full policy details for school districts here.
Under this policy, we provide the following liability coverage parts:
General Liability
For the benefit of the insured, Community Insurance Corporation includes all of its coverage in ONE policy. This eliminates potential coverage gaps, coverage sub-limits, and reduces the potential for claims disallowance and multiple retentions.
Community Insurance Corporation has adopted the underwriting philosophy of protecting its insureds overall risk management cost and reducing “out of pocket” expenses by expanding the policy to respond to the changing needs of government and the litigation environment.
Automobile Liability
Includes bodily injury, property damage and uninsured motorist coverages.
School Board Legal Liability
School board legal liability coverages include any misstatement or misleading statement or act or omission or neglect or breach of duty including misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance by an insured in their capacity as insured.
Public Officials Errors & Omissions
Public officials’ errors and omissions liability coverages include any misstatement or misleading statement or act or omission or neglect or breach of duty including misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance by an insured in their capacity as insured.
See full policy details for municipalities here.
Worker’s Compensation
Worker’s compensation coverages includes excess workers’ compensation for self-insured municipalities and school districts, as well as fully insured workers’ compensation. Cities, towns, villages and school districts self-insuring their workers’ compensation can purchase excess insurance and services only or add claims and risk management services from Community Insurance Corporation.
